Today Tabitha went to live with her new family. They had just lost their family cat.
I hope she makes them very happy and that she is happy there. Lord knows their household will be much quieter than ours.
I miss her already, but there is just no way we can keep all these kittens. Now to find a home for Colby, any takers?
I’m afraid he will be harder to place because people are just stupid and superstitious about black cats.
Snoring Daddy insists that the other two, DeeDee and Tommy, are staying and I’m not exactly arguing at this point.
(All these photos are about a month old. The kittens turn 14 weeks this Tuesday.)

We hope that Tabitha enjoys her new home, and that Colby finds a home, too. It’s really sad how such cute, loving, black cats are overlooked because of superstition. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect cat for me than Luna, and that includes her lovely black coat.

Colby has such an expressive face. My 2 old ladies are 17 now, and I can’t see bringing another kitten into their turf.
Too bad people don’t adopt black cats. I think they’re rather elegant.

If you have trouble finding a home for Colby, post news to the Cat Blogosphere ( http://www.blog.catblogosphere.com/ ) and ask for help finding him a family. One of the cat lovers out there might either want him, or will know someone who will be right for him, and no worries about some sick freak getting him BECAUSE he’s a black cat.
Awww, aren’t they cute!! I’m not a cat person (I’m allergic, so I’m not allowed to be), but I wish I could cuddle with these little ones! Good luck finding a good home for Colby - I’m sure you won’t have a problem!

Nicky, the black cat we have now, is a little loco, but we love him a lot. I hope Colby has the same opportunity. He looks dignified in that picture, but I’ll bet he can drop that pose in a second.
