A little while ago, we took a short trip to town. Snoring Daddy had a craving for some snacky foods and stopped to go into the convenience store while the kids and I waited in the car.
I swear I spend 25% of my life sitting in the car with the kids waiting on that man.
Anyway, when he came back out he had a can of shredded beef jerkey and a bag of corn nuts and some a couple of scratcher lottery tickets.
The 3.5 year old asked, “What do you have daddy?”
Snoring Daddy replied, “Vices.”
The 5 year old asked, “What are vices?”
I replied, “Bad habits.”
How else do you explain what vices are to children who have no business knowing what a vice is?
And the 3.5 year old asked ever–so–sweetly, “Can I have some bad habits?”
