DeeJay of Simply Sassy tagged me for the book meme and while I’ve done this one several times before, it’s hard for me to say no to DeeJay. And besides, she’s right. I always have a book nearby.
First the instructions:
Pick up the nearest book.
Turn to page 123.
Post the 5th sentence.
Tag 5 other people.
The nearest book is City of Women: Sex and Class in New York 1789-1860 by Christine Stansell. This is the current book I’m working on for a book review. I’ve got five more after this, due by the end of this week.
Isn’t that just AWESOME? (To answer my own question, NO.)
To the quote:
“The antebellum workrooms lacked the systematization that the assembly line and scientific management, which diminish the play of individual judgment, were later to establish.”
1. Buffi at Sugar Mommy
2. Judy at Where One Day Runs Into Another
3. Jenny at Jenny on the Spot.
4. Jennielynn at Preteens, Toddlers, and Newborns, Oh My!
5. Kris at Chicka Nuts

I’m not sure if that quote made me feel smarter or dumber. hehehehehe

That’s a really neat idea about the tagging for a book. I may have to try this.

DeeJays last blog post..Suprina Tagged Me!
AWESOME! Please, sweet Baby Jesse, do not let the 5th sentence of the 23rd page in the trashy novel I am currently reading be a sex one!
jennielynns last blog post..The Boogie That Be
123rd page, that is.
jennielynns last blog post..The Boogie That Be
Oh no, jennielynn! Please let it BE a sex scene! LOL!
I’m on it! Unlike Jennielynn up there (you’re so trashy!!!), I’m hoping the Greek New Testament isn’t the nearest one to me (my computer is right next to my bookshelf ‘o religious literature - and it is VERY dusty!)… Oh good… it’s not the nearest… I have a mommy book propped right behind my computer… oh… there… got it… we should all be very relieved!
I’m off to compose, save and post later
MWAH!
