“The busy bee has no time for sorrow.”*

*~William Blake

I will be posting somewhat spradically over the next couple of weeks and I won’t have much if any time to keep up on my blog reading and commenting either. There is much to do on my list.

1. Book review due tomorrow (Tuesday) noon.
2. Historiography (mostly complete) due Thursday at 3:00pm.
3. Seven additional book reviews due by the end of this week.

At this point I will be finished with this semester’s school work and ready to move on to work on my thesis this Summer.

4. Harrass Snoring Daddy until he gets the riding lawn mower repaired this week (he’s busy working on a book with a deadline of May 15th so this won’t be easy).
5. Take daughter for belated well child check up.
6. Watch nephew and nieces for sisterinlaw and brotherinlaw while they participate in couples relationship study for three hours on Wednesday.
7. Mow a 1/2+ acre of yard.
8. Prepare and plan garage sale for this coming Saturday (MUST REMEMBER TO PLACE AD IN PAPER!) 9. Sort through children’s toys for sale.
10. Sort through and post more books to Paperbackswap.com
11. Finish 3 blog posts I currently have in drafts.
12. Beg mother to watch the children this weekend–preferably ALL weekend.
13. Attend Oldest Son and Middle Daughter’s school’s Spring Carnival on Friday night.
14. Garage Sale Saturday morning.
15. Participate in three hour couples relationship study for three hours Saturday late afternoon and evening (this ought to be interesting, they want to film us while we “discuss” issues, etc.)
16. Take three sets of ugly green wooden shelves outside and paint them a less ugly color.
17. Clean out cars. I mean really CLEAN OUT the cars.
18. Wash the cars.
19. Rearrange, organize, and clean Oldest Son’s bedroom.
20. Move Youngest Son’s bedroom into Oldest Son’s room. Continue to organize.
21. Clean Middle Daughter’s room.
22. Hang stars and planets in the Boys’ room.
23. Hang decorative wall stickers and princess netting in daughter’s room.
24. Go on field trip with Oldest Son’s Kindergarten class to the Zoo next Wednesday.
25. Move desks, computers, bookshelves, and file cabinets into formerly Youngest Son’s room.
26. Clean and rearrange master bedroom. Make it into a clean, attractive, welcoming retreat.
27. Deep clean two upstairs bathrooms and downstairs half bath.
28. Deep clean kitchen.
29. Clean and rearrange living room.
30. Clean carpets.
31. Find pictures from last year’s Disney World trip, print and hang in four collage frames I bought last fall.
32. Host the Mother’s Day Edition of the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos.
33. Walk the nearby country roads and locate and move red rock for flower garden border.
34. Attend nephew’s sixth birthday party.
35. Enroll the kids in swimming lessons.
36. Plan a vacation for late May or early June
37. Put wire fencing up along the end of the porch where Hank keeps jumping through the deck railing to escape the fence.
38. Get to reading Secondary source materials for Thesis.

The next month is going to be very busy, but I’m glad. I’m ready for me and the kids to be out of school for the Summer and to make the changes in and outside the house that we have planned. Plus, keeping this busy has to keep me from indulging in poor food choices and it will keep me moving too.

The kittens, their parents, and their litter box have overstayed their welcome in our master bedroom. my cobwebs have cobwebs and my dustbunnies have dustbunnies. And good lord, we are giving crunchy carpets a whole new definition. My house needs cleaned. BAD.
