Well, maybe not a major award like those things everyone is going nuts about this time of year, but it’s a thoughtful one none-the-less. Gypsy & Tasha very sweetly awarded me with this:

Colin created the award to share with bloggers all around the world and spread some link-love. In that spirit I’m giving this award to the bloggers who have made me feel supported and loved this past week in some way. I wish I could hang out with each of these incredible women.


Chickanuts is always funny and if I am ever in a dark alley I want her at my back, because I know I can count on her to kick some ass as well as be a good friend.


The Horseshoeing Housewife is living the dream, yo. She lives in the country with horses and even has them on her front porch at times. I’m so glad she decided to delurk this month so I could discover her delightful blog.


Where One Day Runs Into Another. I want to be like Judy when I grow up. She’s smart and compassionate and just a terrific mom. I can tell by reading her that she is one of those people who have a calming presence–I need more of that in my life.


Blue Candy. Missy is a fellow Okie and she always seems to be there to offer support with thoughtful comments when you need her most.


Firecracker Mom is a new blogger with great potential. She’s funny and she’s feisty.


This Girl’s Garden. Shelly reassures me that our kids are just normal kids and we are doing the best we can.


A Deputy’s Wife. Not only is she the wife of a law enforcement officer, but she also has three boys. There is a special place in heaven for cop’s wives and mothers of three or more boys. I learned this from my stepmother and three stepbrothers.


The Casual Perfectionist. What a great title for a blog! She started in May of 2007, according to her archives, and she’s witty and writes well. She had me at her “About” page. Lord knows I love me a good “About” page–it’s the first thing I look at when visiting a new blog.


Jenny on the Spot has kept me laughing quite a bit this week. And who doesn’t love a mom learning to break dance?


Fussypants made the finals in one of those major awards this week. Fussypants is kind and generous and she promotes other bloggers and commenters with great enthusiasm and genuine friendship. Plus? She’s got four boys and is pregnant with their fifth. Dude. Remember what I said about mothers of three or more boys? God Bless Fussypants, yo.


Artist by Nature Have you visited her blog? Did you know SHE is the originator of Thursday Thirteen? The oh-so-talented Leanne is an incredible artist, designer, and photographer. I wish I had an ounce of her talent and creativity. Really. An ounce would be fine to get me by in life.


Jason. For the Love of God. I discovered Chick this last year when her blog title caught my eye. It’s a phrase I say often in my own house so I had to click over to check it out. I am so glad I did. Chick is funny and she’s not afraid to put herself out there. I really admire her for digging deep and laying it all out for the world to see. I hope that her posts will touch someone somewhere and help them realize that no matter how badly they are being treated, no matter how trapped they might feel, they are worth loving, just as Chick has.
