Sherry tagged me for this last week. I’m late getting to it but better late then never, I always say.

Here are the rules. Write a post using each letter of your middle name describing something relevant to your life. Tag the same amount of people as you have letters in your name.

C is for Caring. Sometimes I care too much and at other times I probably don’t care enough. For example I often find I care too much about what others think of me and not enough about myself to make better choices.

H is for the hard way. I used to think I was much smarter than all those people out there that have to learn things the hard way. That was back when I was a teenager and in my early twenties. Ah to go back to the days when I knew it all.

Let’s just say that the last 8 years have taught me differently. I really am all about the hard way.

R is for the rules. I follow them. I always have. I was taught that you follow the rules at your own peril. My husband? He’s my foil–he is all about seeing how many rules can be broken. I think we are good for each other–we’ve reined each other back from both extremes.

I is for independence. I spent the first half of my twenties trying very hard to be independent. Since I married my husband I’ve learned it’s okay to lean on someone else. I probably lean too hard on him sometimes.

S is for sleep. I love it. I long for it. I haven’t had enough of it since having my children. I really believe that I require 10-12 hours of sleep every 24 hour period to feel my best. And I really don’t have a probablem with sleeping half of my life away. If only I could.

T is for trust. I don’t have much of it. While I trust my husband’s love and faithfulness implicitly I’m not sure I trust many other people even a fraction as much. I don’t give my trust away easily. I’ve been hurt and felt the sting of rejection too many times.

I is for incorrigible. Yeah. I’ll own up to it.

N is for Naughty and Nice. I try to be nice. However, I think more often than not I come off naughty. To be honest, I will admit it’s more fun to be naughty than nice.

E is for Energy and Exercise. I’m really trying to get more of both into my life. Sometimes it seems like an uphill battle but in the words of Galaxy Quest “Never give up, never surrender!”

I’m going to wimp out on the tagging bit. It would take too much time for me to choose nine people because quite frankly I have issues with making decisions and choosing some people over others because I hate to leave anyone out.
