Last year when I was actively working on my health I did the weighin wednesdays. Now that I am back on track, my weighins are actually on Mondays and I’m going to start posting about my progress on Mondays (mostly) instead.
Did I confess that I gained back all I had last year? Yup. I did. Shamefull. Absolutely shamefull. I am determined to learn how to handle stress without letting all my food choices slide. No more crappy fast food. I don’t care how hectic life gets, and if we do eat out it will be healthy choices from now on. Some of the salads at the fast food places are really great as long as you don’t go overboard with their dressing. I really need to find a portable version of fat free ranch dressing. Packets would be preferable to carry in my purse.
So I have 4 weeks complete back on program. We’ve eaten out during that time and I’ve succeeded more often than not at making good choices. Eating out is ever my biggest challenge. I am proud of the progress I have made. And I have a nice loss to show for the changes I’ve made.
On Wednesday my oldest turns 6 and he and his sister start school. A week from today my youngest starts nursery school. The next day is my first day of school. I think that now that our move is complete it will be easier to handle some of the school stress because we don’t have the stress of living in that other house or searching for and trying to buy a house. I am determined to manage my time wisely and make time for good nutrition and exercise so that I can handle stress more effectively–not let it defeat my efforts to better my health.
So with 4 weeks finished I am showing 19.4 pounds lost and I never want to find them again.

Good for you Ammie!
I yearn for the school year routine. Things are more than a little nuts around here. Unfortunately, school year routine also means I go back to work. I guess a person has got to take the good with the bad.
19 pounds! That’s so awesome, just stick with it - I’m right here beside you!
Go You!
I finally completed that 8 Things Meme you tagged me with. I’m a slacker.
WHOO HOO! 19 pounds is AWESOME! I love that sparkpeople, don’t you?
I have no doubt that you can do this. Life is good.
