It didn’t rain today! Let’s hope we can string together more than one or two days of no rain. I’d like the yard to dry out so we can get a fence built and the dogs off the porch. Not to mention get these bugs under control.
Seriously. We had to break out the fly paper. That stuff is disgusting.
P.S. Snoring Daddy and I finally got to sit on our porch this evening for a little bit. We watched neighbors across the way setting off fireworks and enjoyed the full moon and cool breeze.
It was sweet. I adore this house.

Hey, didn’t rain here either, the yard finally was dry enough to mow on a high setting and the patio was enjoyed by all. Isn’t life grand?
Oh and…the bugs…OMFGrief! Totally hate the flying june bugs! Mosquitoes try to carry me off and the flies are dying violent deaths if they venture into my humble abode!
