Like many other American families, yesterday we visited a Zoo. Among the highlights of the visit were fantastic views of Lions, Bears, Gorillas fighting over a pacifier, and one amazingly rotund Prairie Dog sitting on his rump refusing to move no matter what alarms the rest of the Prairie Dogs sent up as they scattered for their holes.
When it was all said and done, we were hot–despite the mild 70 something degree temperatures, thanks to the 80% humidity–thirsty, hungry and tired.
Favorite quote: at nearly every exhibit Demolition Toddler pronounced “SCARE!!! EAT ME!!!”
