That’s what we are turning into. The Sleeping Mommy and Snoring Daddy household is currently “cat-sitting” for a friend. Snoring Daddy’s friend has moved in with his girlfriend and can’t take his two female cats (aged 1.5 years and 9 months) and somehow he suckered us into taking them in “temporarily.”
Yeah. Right.
We all know where this is going right? He is supposed to be trying to find a home for them. But somehow I think they may have found their new home here. If they are a fit that is. I swear they ain’t staying if this causes problems. I. Mean. It.
But we certainly can’t turn these sweet pusses out into the cold, now can we? Meet Molly and Maggie:
For those keeping count, that takes us to SIX cats and THREE dogs. Snoring Daddy asked this evening, “So, are we a rescue now?”
“Yeah, pretty much.”
Here, Carter expresses Snoring Daddy’s sentiments quite clearly:
Especially, considering I have a classmate with kittens who will be ready after the first of May and I already told her I wanted one of the males.
Yes, Molly, I am crazy.

You’re in trouble now; the animals outnumber the humans!
Thanks for the soothing and helpful comment you left me on my blog. It really helped.
Nice kitties! I hope they fit in, but that includes deciding if you really have room for 2 more. Is Snoring Daddy’s friend usually so, well, irresponsible as to promise these cats a forefur home and then make cat-less plans?
Hi Mollie and Maggie! Welcome to your new home! We have 8 and 1 DOG and our Maggie is in a delicate way, soon kittens!
They are beautiful Cats!
